Production Operators

Millennium Plastics NZ is an established Plastic Injection Moulding technology company located in Te Rapa, Hamilton. We manufacture Plastic injection moulding Products sold locally and abroad.

Reporting directly to the Production Shift Supervisor, we are looking for Production Operators to join us as soon as possible. Two shifts available:  Afternoon shift start time 13.45pm to 22.00pm and Night shift start time 21.45pm to 6am.

Working in our production department, these roles involve understanding and complying with standard operating procedures, quality inspections, the use of machinery and equipment and the packaging of finished product.

Skills required:

• Previous experience in Plastic injection moulding will be advantageous.
• Safety orientated in the workplace
• Ability to follow company procedures and policies.
• Ability to follow instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
•  High attention to detail
• Good communication skills; both written and verbal English
• Reliable and punctual
• A quick learner
• A positive work attitude

Full training will be provided to the successful applicants.

Passing a pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical aptitude test will be a requirement for all successful candidates; as will be a satisfactory Ministry of Justice convictions report.
