The Role

Reporting to Aurecon’s Wellington Infrastructure Advisory Lead, this role will help to grow and develop our Infrastructure Advisory practice in Wellington. Specifically taking responsibility for:

• Providing high level consulting services to public sector clients on business cases for a wide range of major building, infrastructure and development projects
• Maintaining and developing strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Managing, motivating, coordinating and mentoring project teams of professional specialists

To be successful in this position you will ideally have:

• Significant demonstrable early stage project feasibility and public sector business case expertise (experience with both Treasury’s 5 Case and NZTA’s Economic Evaluation Manual will be favourably regarded)
• Very strong public sector networks and an innate ability to foster client relationships
• The ability to work downstream from business cases on live projects as required – contribute to procurement, build, operate and maintain operational phases
• A proven track record coaching, mentoring and developing high performing teams

While this role may suit experienced individuals from a range of professional backgrounds, most important is that strong public sector networks and significant business case delivery experience can be demonstrated.
