The opportunity
In this two-year programme, you'll have the opportunity to learn what makes businesses tick from an integrated financial, commercial, strategic and business planning perspective. You'll gain a broad and well-rounded experience in this corporate function by rotating through key Commercial Finance teams such as financial budgeting, accounting and performance, operational unit support and issue resolution, commercially focussed project reviews, business planning and reporting and business improvement projects support.
Based within the Operations division, these teams support the largest division in Auckland Council. You'll have the opportunity to learn what makes businesses tick from an integrated financial, commercial, strategic and business planning perspective.
About you
To be eligible to apply, you must have the following:
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand, or be eligible to apply for a Post-Study Work Visa
- A relevant Bachelor degree or postgraduate qualification obtained in the last two years in Accounting, Finance or Business, or be a current student and graduating before the end of January 2018.

We are looking for graduates with a qualification in a relevant field, specifically accounting, finance and/or business.
