Join one of New Zealand’s largest banks based in Auckland CBD. You will be working within an extremely engaging supportive team.  

Role
As a Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing credit risk applications, advising lenders and ordering documentation.
This will be for a minimum of 4 months.
You will work within their specifically designed systems and will need to meet daily deadlines.
While banking and/or insurance knowledge, particularly with credit would be an advantage
  
Duties

• To analyse the credit risk aspects and financial viability of business applications received requesting establishment of limits.
• Advise approved limits and special conditions (where appropriate) to ensure that lenders are aware of any important issues/concerns regarding their credit proposals.
• Analysing of financial statements and credit proposals (utilisation of credit tools and systems).
• Credit admin related tasks – annual reviews etc
• Ordering of loan documentation (if required).

Skills and Experience

• Previous credit decisioning experience preferably within a banking and/or insurance environment.
• Attention to detail
• Accurate & high-speed data entry skills
• Computer literate able to adapt to new programs
• Have excellent communication both verbal and written i.e. grammar, punctuation, formatting etc.
