Your new company
A well run family business are looking to bring a Qualified/Certifying Gasfitter in to their close knit team as a result of business growth. They are an approved Rinnai & Brivis Service Centre providing repair, maintenance and replacement services on everything from Gas Heaters, Hot Water Heaters to Central Heating Systems. They have over 20 years experience working within the industry and have work closely with the manufacturers. Along with all of this, the company really want to have a happy team that have a great work/life balance.
Your new role
You will start your day on the first job, and finish on the last job. You will come into the office several times a week for parts and equipment. They are well run and organised so your planning will be done. You will be a complete mobile until, with a fully equipped van with all the equipment required to carry out your day to day duties i.e servicing and repairs of gas units across Central Auckland and the North Shore, all you need to bring is your Tools and a good attitude as you will be customer facing. In the Winter months, expect to be busy and fulfilling a fair bit of overtime, but in the Summer months, things calm down but you are STILL guaranteed 40 hours per week. You will also be expected to up-sell products and introduce new products to the clients but will be rewarded with bonuses.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced in the repair and servicing of a range of domestic heating and gas products - preferably in Rinnai and Brivis.
Ideally be a qualified Plumber & Gasfitter- NZ Gas-fitting registration is more important than Plumbing - Strong preference if your are a Certifying Gas-fitter
Have a positive, motivated attitude with the confidence to work by yourself.
Keen to fit in within this successful family business
Superb customer service skills and be able to confidently deliver the service required from the company.
