Our client work within the public infrastructure, utilities and services space with a particular focus on the three waters; drinking water, waste water, storm water. Delivering a range of operations and maintenance services under long term contracts, as well as specific contract project works.
 
They are looking for a highly experienced collaborative Project Manager, within their Utilities Division to manage water mains and sewer renewal projects. The role will require the ability to run various concurrent projects from concept to completion ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of the client and at a profit.
 
Key Accountabilities:

• Successfully developing and maintaining good client relationships
• Tendering and pricing for contracts
• Managing and driving the progress of the project
• Engaging, and supervising sub-contractors and staff
• Preserve and develop the company image and profile in the market
• Managing all relevant financial requirements of the project
• Ensure Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety compliance across all sites and staff

Key requirements:

• 5+ years proven experience in project management, preferably within a civil/utilities field
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Good level of computer literacy
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Project management qualification; such as PRINCE2, PMI - preferred
• A tertiary level qualification within a related field - preferred
