This is an excellent career opportunity to join Heartland Bank’s Intermediated Business lending team as a Business Assistant in Newmarket.
  
This office based role provides lending support to our sales team working with our SME clients and intermediated business partners.  Your primary tasks will be to co-ordinate loan documentation for new and existing business clients and ensure compliance obligations are met.  Additionally you will manage relationship data and related systems.   You will work in a team environment providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
  
To be successful in this role you will have about a year of experience in a bank or a finance company where you have been involved with supporting lending in a customer service and administration role or you are a recent BCom graduate with an accounting or finance major and keen for a career in banking.  Knowledge of accepted credit processes and policy in a banking environment is helpful together with strong problem solving skills.  You must have a propensity for sales and providing the highest level of customer service.   Effective time management and organisational skills are essential, as are strong written and verbal communication skills.
