Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific is an international travel retail company that represents a number of luxury iconic brands across the globe. With over 120 Australian & New Zealand stores located in dynamic environments including airports & commuter hubs we are a fast paced organisation meeting the needs of people on the move.
In December 2017 we unveiled our new and larger Aelia Duty Free store at Auckland International Airport and as a result of continued success and growth we have created 3 new roles; and we’re now on the hunt for Wine and Whisky Connoisseurs, ready for a career move!
Focusing on your field of expertise, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of professional retailers, committed to achieving sales targets and delivering a level of customer service that surpasses expectation. To be considered for either of these exciting roles, where no two days are the same, you will need to have:
- Expert knowledge of wine and / or whisky with the willingness to share that with our Customers and the Team
- Previous retail or hospitality experience
- Strong ability to achieve healthy sales targets
- Excellent communication skills
- A professional approach and presentation

As we're located in a dynamic airport environment our stores operate on a 24/7 basis to meet our customers' needs – this then means that your availability to work on either of the following shifts is a must:
Wine Specialist: 1 – 9.30pm
Whisky Specialists: 5am – 1.30pm & 1 – 9.30pm
All of these shifts will include at least one weekend day.
