The Role:

You will lead a small team and assist in the management of our grocery department. We are looking for a Grocery Assistant Manager who can run the department as if it were their own business, with the challenge of creating an outstanding team that will deliver growth and customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this position you will need:

• Minimum 2 years supermarket retail experience

• Supervisory experience in similar environment a distinct advantage

• Experience with stock control and inventory management as well as budget management

• Proven ability to lead a team

• Customer and results focused

• Well developed relationship builder, team player and problem solver

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers

• Excellent personal presentation

• Maintaining standards and attention to detail

• SAP experience is preferable and a distinct advantage

Hours will be discussed at the interview, this is however a full-time role working 40-45 hours a week.
