In line with our leadership globally, our Takapuna based office is the market leader in New Zealand and is looking for a analytical and numerically focused individual to join our Payment Services team.

Role
The role will include (but not be limited to):

• Process direct credit, direct debit and cheque transactions on the registry and different banking systems.
• Processing all payments accurately and on time; whilst ensuring all relevant controls and authorisations are met.
• Process settlements on NZClear and banking systems.
• Use appropriate escalation points to ensure all payments are performed within the acceptable timeframe.
• Develops positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
• Understands risk factors related to a situation or activity.
• Ensure auditing tasks and duties to gain sign offs are obtained and managed.
• Manage and organise documentation pertaining to payments such as filing and archiving.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• A flair for numbers and an enquiring mind
• Strong computer literacy – ability to work on different systems quickly and accurately.
• Intermediate level of understanding of Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel, and knowledge of macros would also be an advantage.
• A positive attitude, logic thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks and projects.
• Highly developed organisation skills, time management and attention to detail
