This exciting opportunity as a multi-site Store Manager will see you drive sales performance and operational efficiency by leading, supervising and coordinating the activities of the Trade Centres, allocating resources, managing expenses, inventory and debtors in order to achieve budgeted KPI’s and meet or exceed Trade Centre revenue and profitability.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and coach your team to a high performance level to deliver increased profitability and exceed KPIs and targets
  • Provide appropriate leadership for the Trade Centres to ensure a strong coordinated team works safely and has accountability for all aspects of the Trade Centres and customers
  • Recruit, induct, train and discipline staff to meet Trade Centre requirements
  • Communicate to branch team all information on product delivery, stocks, advertising, promotions, trade fairs, etc as necessary to enable them to give proper service to clients; including information that might adversely affect or promote that service
  • Ensure good customer relationships by maintaining a high level of service, prompt follow up of complaints; ensure all staff are trained in the counter sales and customer complaints
  • Ensure that stock is held in the right balance to sales and in keeping with company stockturn requirements
  • Identify areas of expansion and/or improvement for the Trade Centres

As the successful applicant, you will possess previous experience in a similar role preferably within a Retail/ Industrial branch management environment. You will have experience managing and leading a diverse group of employees’, including exceptional performance management skills coupled with the ability to drive sales performance, training and development of the team and store presentation. It will be your initiative and proactive nature that will see you truly excel in this opportunity.
