About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated individual to become our newest Store Manager in our Henderson store to:

  • Ensure the store reaches sales targets and set KPI’s.
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of the store – including financial and administrative management.
  • Build the team through strong leadership and management.
  • Be responsible for Stock Management.
  • Expand the store’s customer base by driving a strong reputation of the store and the PETstock brand in the community.

 

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Retail management or assistant management experience.
  • Experience in managing budgets and maximising profit in a sales environment.
  • A demonstrated ability in stock management and merchandising.
  • Proven team building, leadership and managerial skills.
  • PAW-some, world class customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A can-do, hands-on attitude.
  • A valid forklift license would be desirable.
  • Must be physically able to work in an environment requiring repeated heavy lifting of stock weighing up to 20kgs. 
  • Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays and school/university holidays, as required.
  • A passion for pets would be highly regarded!
