As the Operations Manager you will lead the company’s customer service and dispatch team, to provide highly effective customer service and dispatch orders according to business critical deadlines.

You will be accountable for three main functions within the warehouse operation:
•    Ensure the warehouse is effectively managed in line with company procedures
•    Perform picking and packing duties in order to distribute products 
•    Maintain the website and inventory system to ensure they are accurate at all times


DUTIES
Warehouse Duties
•    Warehouse staff training and management
•    Prepare warehouse rosters in accordance to the budget
•    Accepting and checking deliveries
•    Offloading and unpacking goods
•    Accurately check all incoming stock for shortages and damage
•     Manage fitting appointments
•    Process customer returns and ensure all items entering the warehouse are checked and stock is updated through inventory system
•    Organise and perform stocktakes
•    General warehouse cleaning and tidying
•    Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards

Dispatch Duties
•    Picking and packing customer orders
•    Ensure all orders are addressed correctly and scanned out for delivery within the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•    Ensure all stock is located in the correct place
•    Ensure that relevant and timely information is communicated relating to any issue with customer orders
•    Ensure back orders are communicated to customers and are delivered within the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•    Ensure all invoices are approved
•    Ensure all dispatch invoices contain relevant accounting information and are imported to accounting software daily. 
 

Website and Inventory system
•    Ensure available stock is current and accurate
•    Create new customer accounts and ensure department information is loaded accurately
•    Organise product to be photographed and resized on time
•    Upload accurate and thorough product descriptions and clear-cuts
•    Pull inventory reporting as requested 


 IDEAL CANDIDATES
•    Previous experience of working within a warehouse or e-commerce environment is desirable
•    Good knowledge of Health and Safety
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Competent in Microsoft Office
•    Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
•    Conscientious with great teamwork skills
•    Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn
•    Accuracy and attention to detail is vital

The hours for this position are 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
