Europcar is seeking to appoint a proactive and results-oriented Car Rental Manager to lead our Wellington Airport/Ferry team! In this challenging role you will be accountable for maximizing the growth and profitability of all facets of the station through focusing on excellence in customer service, sales revenue, vehicle quality, and station presentation. The management and development of staff is key in delivering the expected levels of customer service, sales, productivity, and fleet efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate Wellington in accordance with Europcar values and goals
• Effectively control station costs to achieve financial targets
• All aspects of staff management including recruitment and performance
• Lead a team of Shift Supervisors to promote a positive team culture
• Actively seek ways to increase initiations within the location
• Drive growth of revenue and minimise outgoing expenses
• Increasing vehicle utilisation and fleet availability
• Maximisation of sales revenue and company profitability

We're looking for someone with:

• The ability to inspire and motivate a team as well as spearhead the continued growth and profitability of the station
• Experience in managing a large team with strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as intermediate computer skills
• Financial literacy and the ability to drive station revenue growth
• The ability to thrive under pressure and a resilient attitude
• Car Rental or Fleet Management experience (highly desirable)
