We are looking for a motivated Wine Demonstrator to join our Sales team in West Auckland on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will be conducting wine tastings and engaging with customers at West Liquor Trust Stores on a provided call cycle. You will also be required to provide merchandising support as needed. This is a great role that will allow you to develop and share your wine knowledge while representing the Villa Maria brands at your highest standard at all times.
This role is approximately 10 hours per week, including evening work and weekends. The tastings will usually be three hours long and booked between Thursday 3pm-7pm, Friday 3pm-7pm and Saturday 12pm-7pm, but will depend on store requirements.
You must:
- Be well presented and professional
- Be self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
- Have excellent communication skills and confidence
- Have access to a computer and be able to perform computer tasks (administrative work is involved)
- Hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence, and have your own transport
- The ability to work within a flexible roster
Preferably, you’ll have a real passion for New Zealand wine. Experience in the liquor or hospitality industry would be an advantage.
