We have an amazing new opportunity for someone to drive our visual merchandising for our Noel Leeming and Torpedo7 brands!

 

Reporting to the Property & Store Development Manager you will be responsible for driving our sales via excellent in store execution – constantly finding better, more functional, more attractive and engaging ways to merchandise our products. You will be managing the link between our Merchandise, Marketing and Operations team to ensure that the store presentation fits within our category plans, and is easy and engaging for our customers to shop in all year-round, including promos and seasonal launches!

 

As the role is cross functional and linked directly into our stores your influencing and communication skills across the Store Support Office and store network will ensure you are able to prioritise and manage expectations and tight time frames.

 

Success in this role requires a technical knowledge of our stores, including the layouts and fixtures used. An understanding of consumer behaviour principles would be an advantage also. 

 

 

Key objectives include:

 

  • Implementation of Strategy and ensure all actions are aligned to the strategy.
  • Identify, plan and roll out the implementation of new processes/procedures.
  • Ensure Operation input and provide solutions to all range plans to ensure fit with the business.
  • Develop & Manage all Stakeholder Relationships with good follow-up and excellent communication.
  • Develop stakeholder management plan to support program/project critical path.
  • Liaise regularly with merchandise on all stock / formatting issues.
  • Reducing costs and increased efficiency - initiate cost control measures to continuously reduce operating costs.
  • To lead and promote change and ensure the change process is planned and managed.

 

Key experience and qualifications:

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in visual merchandising, and experience managing and developing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management internally and externally.
  • Project management and change management experience
  • Display excellent business acumen and understanding of retail fundamentals
