And as a socially focused landlord, we are continuing to provide quality housing and tenancy management services to families and tenants. We own or manage around 63,000 properties nationwide and more than 184,000 people live in our properties.
We are embarking on one of the largest housing building programmes this country has seen in decades as we significantly increase the number of homes we provide and improve the quality of our current stock.
The role you’ll play

- Provide robust, effective business and financial leadership and advice to the People and Property Management Team
- Actively influence day to day decisions, shape strategy and the direction of the People and Property business group
- Adopt a “challenger” posture, when required, grounded in facts and data to ensure the best quality decisions are made to deliver on HNZ’s strategy
- Leverage relationships with internal and external peers to create a collaborative approach in solving business problems and identifying opportunities
- Provide effective leadership and team management and actively participates in the Finance and Performance leadership team supporting innovation and business improvement.
About you & what’s in it for you
You will ideally be well qualified with a MBA, Masters (Finance or Economics) or be CPA, CIMA, CAANZ or CFA qualified.
