MVS has an exciting opening for an enthusiastic, innovative and systems focused Procurement and Stock Manager.
Based at our busy Tainui Street clinic, the Procurement and Stock Manager will play the lead role in managing our stock control processes practice wide. They will also work closely with our Retail Manager to promote and sell animal health products to both our retail and ‘on-farm’ customers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a sound knowledge in the agricultural sector;
- Have a proven record in stock control/stock management systems;
- Be dedicated to providing excellence in customer service - you’re customer focused and service driven;
- Be a great communicator;
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office;
- Be able to work autonomously – you’re a motivated self-starter with great initiative and time management skills.
The nuts and bolts of the role include:
- Effectively managing stock levels and the procurement of stock;
- Maintaining relationships with Sales Representatives;
- Meticulously and accurately enter stock records and pricing into our database;
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of our stock take processes;
- Providing a supporting role to our Retail department;
- An element of lifting is required, so a level of physical fitness would be advantageous;
- Forklift operation is also a requirement of the role. Full training and licensing will be facilitated for the successful applicant.
