DUTY MANAGER

PAK’nSAVE Clendon is currently seeking a Duty Manager.
The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for ensuring that our store is always presented to the highest possible standard and effectively communicating any issues with the appropriate team members or Department Managers. They will also be responsible for solving any customer issues that may arise, making sure that team members are productive at all times and ensuring that the store is closed securely at the end of the night.
To be considered for this role you will need to have had previous grocery experience and a proven ability to supervise or manage a medium sized team.
Flexibility is a must as our current duty managers cover a range of shifts from 6am through till 10pm over 7 days of the week.
The successful applicant will have a Managers Certificate or be suitable to apply for one. A forklift licence and previous forklift experience is preferred but not essential.
Customers are at the centre of everything we do here at PAK’nSAVE Clendon so previous customer service experience is essential.
Due to the importance of the role the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Highly motivated and be able to motivate the team
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety
High level of computer literacy
Have a high attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks
