Commercial Attendant - Taupo

This is the perfect opportunity for a customer service superstar to join our Taupo based team for winter. We are experiencing an EPIC start to the season so why not join us in catering to each and every one of our guest's needs. This role is suited to someone who loves people, lives in Taupo or can easily commute, and shares a passion for Mt Ruapehu and our region like the rest of us!

Whether it's because you love nature, the truly unique world heritage area, or the obvious draw card of skiing/riding the volcano, there are opportunities for real fun at every turn

The Day to Day: (All of the nitty gritty bits)

While your role is off-mountain, no 2 days are ever the same. Our constantly changing environment and business levels mean that each day brings something a little bit different. At the heart of this role you will provide exceptional customer service to our guests, upselling and promoting our products and ensuring they set off on their journey to the mountain with everything they'll possibly need.

You will not only be selling our products face to face but you may also be answering queries by phone and email and ensuring that no guest, no matter how they reach out to us, goes without an answer.

To thrive in this role you will need to flexible and adaptable, enjoy a challenge and most of all love the customer. We provide all the training you need but it would be an advantage for you to have previous experience in one or all of the following areas:

• Customer Service  
• Cash Handling
• Administration - general computer skills
• Retail or Rentals

You should also be:

• Skilled in developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Have the ability to share technical information with other technical or non-technical people in a manner that is quickly understandable.
• An upbeat and positive approach
• A smile!
