The Company
Our client is a full-service audit, tax and advisory firm who have over 1400 offices across 158 areas worldwide. The office is a positive and friendly environment. They support an ‘Open-Door’ policy to ensure all staff feel supported and valued.
The Role
The right candidate for this role will be a Senior Auditor who has a solid and hard-working work ethic as well as a friendly and supportive personality. You have strong written and oral communication skills are essential as well as at least 3 years’ experience in Auditing and Assurance. A CA qualification is essential for this role. You will be setting an example to junior staff and be able to develop peer relationships across the firm. Building close working relationships with clients will be priority in order to deliver exceptional client service. You will have drive and determination to achieving team and individual goals. A knowledge of tax issues is essential, as well as the ability to identify statutory and regulatory changes, and how they affect the client. The ability to multi-task and prioritise is essential as there will be handling of a number of small assignments at one time.
Duties
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the firm’s audit approach
- Have an understanding of New Zealand tax policies
- Establish close working relationships with clients
- Some South Island travel
Skills & Experience
- A minimum 3 years of Auditing experience
- CA Qualified
- Professional work ethic
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Set a good example for junior staff
