About the company
Our client, a privately-owned civil construction company, are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team of 7. More excitingly, this role has the opportunity to go permanent for the right person!
You will have a strong background in:
- Processing high volumes of invoices across weekly and monthly pay runs as well as ad-hoc payments
- Coding and batching invoices
- Assisting with the resolution of creditor account issues with creditors and/or staff with respect to disputed invoices and/or payments
- Creditor reconciliations
- Track job financial report information – income in advance, work in progress, subcontractor claims
- Invoice query resolution and handling of purchase orders.
You will also have:
- 2+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Confidence in front end-to-end accounts payable roles
- Strong curiosity and appetite for learning
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Great attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
