The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for effective management, visual merchandising and day-to-day operations of all aspects of the Deadly Ponies Retail and online stores with a primary focus on increasing turnover and maximising profitability, along with creating greater brand alignment. The Retail Operations Manager will ensure a smooth running of all Store and eCommerce operations (logistics in liaison with Supply Chain ) to facilitate Customer orders all the way through to Sale completion and after-sales experience.

Your natural leadership and your ability to motivate, develop and empower Deadly Ponies’ Retail Sales team members to think independently and commercially whilst ensuring they are strategically in line with Deadly Ponies’ company vision and policies, will drive your success in achieving sales targets and drive the business forward on our long-term growth plans and will be key to our success.

As the Retail Operations Manager, you will use your strong organisational and problem-solving skills to ensure the achievement of excellent and consistent service standards that will lead and support the Retail Sales team to drive repeat business and referrals. You will be passionate about customers and building relationships and you will thrive on the opportunity to help make sales possible and achieve the stores goals and targets, maximising store contribution to the overall business revenue & profit goals. You will work closely with the Retail Sales team and the wider Operations and Marketing Teams to maximise Deadly Ponies’ commercial success, ensuring long term business growth in accordance with the company vision, core values and established policies and procedures.

The role will involve managing the day to day operations of the stores and online store platforms to allow its efficient running and the achievement of maximum profitability and outlined KPI's within your budgetary allowance. You will have previous retail management experience and have proven your ability to lead a team with a ‘hands on’ approach, leading by example and people focused management style. You’ll demonstrate excellent communication skills and be passionate about hiring, motivating, and training successful team members.

You will maintain an understanding of core store performance indicators and how your actions influence them.

Crucial to your success in this position will be your strong focus on collaboration, your drive to grow the brand and the team, and your ability to provide long term profitable business success.

This role reports to the Managing Director and supports all Retail Staff, wider Sales and Operations Team.
