Our busy Supermarket is located in Waiuku, Auckland, which is approximately 60 minutes away from Auckland CBD.
We require a candidate to work as a meat packer in our butchery department. You will be required to ensure that all the meat displayed in the case are correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled; preparing meat products; ensuring the meat cases / freezers are appropriately stocked; receiving stock; assisting with customer enquiries; ensuring Food and Health & Safety standards are maintained; ensuring proper stock rotation; housekeeping as required.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Ability to work under pressure;
Tolerance to working in a cold environment;
To be physical fit and healthy;
Strong relationship building & problem solving skills and
An exceptional team player.
Previous meat packing experience and knowledge in operating butchery equipment i.e. automatic wrapping machine and meat packing/retailing qualification preferred.
To be customer service & results focussed;
The shifts are:
Monday: 10am to 7pm
Tuesday: 6am to 3pm
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 10am to 7pm
Friday: 6am to 3pm
Saturday: Off
Sunday: 10am to 7pm
