The role

As the brand and digital expert, you’ll be responsible for the look, feel and tone of the company brand portfolio, translating strategy into key programmes of work.

Working closely with product and international ‘in-market’ teams, these key areas will be the focus of this role: -

  • Ensuring global ‘brand excellence’ is maintained and developed
  • Digital platforms perform to a high level –  internally as well as for channel and end  customers
  • Core content creation – with the help of your team, creating engaging content that can be used around the world

So this is a role which has a great mix of strategy, creative and execution!

Your ability to gain insights and spot trends will ensure company websites remain engaging, relevant and supportive of a customer’s pathway to purchase.  With your thinking, strong communications skills and the support of a highly capable team), the local marketing teams worldwide will also have access to great content(whether it is brand or  product marketing related), designed to engage customers in the most compelling fashion in te most suitable medium.  And with the technical products, you’ll ensure the brand and messaging ‘fits’, speaking clearly to customer needs and moves beyond the basic features and benefits story.

 

You’ll also enjoy leading a small team who will help execute in areas such as content loading, website coordination and graphic design.  You’ll provide guidance and opportunities for them to develop.

With your digital marketing leadership and strong feel for ‘brand’, you’ll understand how to take technical products and create powerful, engaging websites and content which influences customers’ journeys.

Having worked for an NZ exporter or as part of a global company , you’ll understand what it’s to work with international stakeholders.  Balancing empathy and guidance, you’ll show awareness of local trends while enforcing some of the more critical brand messages.

You’ll understand how CMS systems work as well as SEO/SEM and the power of analytics to influence digital strategy and tactics. 

Most of all, you’ll enjoy working with technical products and people, to create engaging content which really influences customers in a variety of ways…we want to engage hearts and minds not just list benefits!!
