We are looking for someone to be part of a team, recreating ideas and activities, which will enhance our visitor experience.  If you have an eye for detail, and previous events planning experience this will stand you in good stead as you will be expected to lead our Live Day events and a dedicated team of volunteers on the day.   Supporting and assisting in other key events throughout the year is a key facet to this exciting role, you will need to be available to work evenings and weekends as required.  This is a hands-on position.

If you have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with staff and and skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office systems then we would like to hear from you.

Applicant should have experience in similar roles and an understanding of working in a Not for profit /Charitable organisation. An interest in NZ’s social history, Auckland’s Early Settler History including the period of Fencible military history.
