This is ONE exciting role. We need to bring our NPD to life and we need to you help us. We love what we do and the products we create. But more than that we love the moments that our products create for our consumers. Your focus will be to ensure that strategically critical innovation projects are delivered on time and within budget as well as working with Global R&D teams on commercialising production in NZ (including packaging, master data etc). 

Reporting to our Brew Master; your role will need you to: 

  • Become the NZ innovation expert, with a full understanding of the JDE Global Innovation process
  • Facilitate pre-alignment on projects with key Global Stakeholders
  • Lead and commercialise selected projects to success including Coffee/Tea/Hot Choc and other local manufacturing
  • Specification development, establishment of quality standards, manufacturing trials and pre-production approval
  • Selects key third party suppliers together with the ANZ Quality Manager and ANZ Procurement Manager
  • Ensures factory has all requirements to produce
  • Provides subject matter expertise and technical support to production 
  • Stand and Deliver Training as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years experience in Project Manager/Innovation Manager role responsible for managing NPD process and insight to innovation projects within the FMCG sector (ideally working with blended products)
  • A willingness to try new things and take balanced risks 
  • Successful experience in a high paced company focused on growth
  • Innovation process & performance reporting experience & good analytical skills.
  • Experience in successfully managing & influencing key stakeholders
  • Supply Chain and R&D experience / understanding (desirable)
  • Product development / Food technology, and/or packaging technology expertise highly desirable
  • Commercially astute
  • Desire to JUST MAKE STUFF HAPPEN 
  • An upbeat positive attitude with a passion for all things coffee and tea
