OUR NEW ZEALAND BUSINESS IS EXPANDING
With new leadership in place we are now looking to expand our team in our New Zealand offices. If you are a Wellington based researcher who has already developed a strength in Social Sector Research or you are experienced in Market Research and are interested in social issues, market trends and understanding citizens and society, then you could be the person we are looking for.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager level researcher who will join our Wellington team and our social researchers based in Auckland. You will also work closely with our highly successful Australian Public Affairs unit which includes nearly 50 talented and curious minded individuals.
Across our New Zealand and Australian Public Affairs team we deliver a broad range of important projects investigating public and stakeholder attitudes and opinions in relation to topics such as public transport, utilities, patient experience & healthcare, infrastructure renewal, planning, energy efficiency and the environment. This team, combined with our global expertise will give you a rich source of best practise experience to tap into and provide support for your role.
In New Zealand, we currently work with some of New Zealand’s leading government departments and private sector organisations. Our team of researchers works closely and collaboratively to deliver quality research and insights solutions to our clients. You will be expected to support a locally based Research Director and other members of the New Zealand team, to meet the needs of our clients.
This will involve working on all aspects of research projects and client deliverables including questionnaire design, analysis, insight generation and reporting as well as day to day client and project management. You will work on a broad range of projects with a variety of clients. Ipsos has a wealth of experience, research knowledge and frameworks to help you succeed.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE
- Experienced - with at least 5 years research experience working either agency or client side
- Highly organised & passionate about research and insights
- Have sound, technical research skills and a good understanding of different research methodologies
- Energetic people person – a real team player
- A curious problem solver with a strong service ethos
- A head for numbers and analysis with an eye for detail
- Excellent presentation & reporting skills
- Tertiary qualified: ideally in social sciences, psychology, statistics or public policy
