We have an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant Augustine HQ team! We are on the lookout for a self-motivated, confident, positive, energetic sales and marketing expert who has plenty of initiative and wants a varied role in a fun fast paced fashion business.

Augustine is a NZ owned woman’s fashion label that offers collections full of colour, fun and gorgeous special occasion and luxe daywear. We are a fast paced work environment with a total 5 retail stores, 60+ wholesale customers and 7 labels with new drops arriving every month.  We have new labels in the pipeline and we are constantly growing.

About the role

What you can expect…

• Marketing and PR - assisting to create content and responding to customer queries on social media. Organizing imagery of current collections for media and wholesale customers. Managing our brand ambassadors, sending out products to media, stylists and brand ambassadors and reporting on activity.  Pitching editorial ideas to media. Building relationships with key stylists and media.

• Sales – of a variety of our labels. Selling in our new ranges to wholesales customers who are located throughout NZ. You will be on the road selling for 6 - 8 weeks of the year, with 1 week staying away at a time. You would need to be flexible to take on additional travel as the business grows, if new labels are developed or as wholesale demands increase.  You will work closely with our Wholesale Sales Manager. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our wholesale customers is essential.
•  Social media – working closely with our website company to update imagery and text for social media strategy.
•  Event management - supporting with planning and executing events including The Augustine Life, VIP nights, general fundraisers, Fashion Week, store openings and others as needed.
• Photo shoots - assisting with our photo shoots, contacting and organizing models and hair and makeup artists. Styling models at the shoot.
• Sales training – we would love the right person to support our business with sales training, researching techniques and developing material to deliver training to our retail store managers and teams to keep us ahead of the game.

You may have come from a regional sales role with a PR and marketing background or maybe you are more marketing bent with flair and passion to get on the road selling.  You must have around 8+ years industry experience and previous fashion industry/retail experience is essential.  A qualification in sales and marketing or other related field is essential.

You must be a positive, bubbly people person who loves to build relationships both internally and externally.

We see this role as a full time opportunity, however for the right person there may be some flexibility.  We understand life's busy demands so would consider 30+ hours per week. Full time hours are essential while away selling on the road.
