We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Executive with at least 2 – 3 years’ marketing experience to join Australasia’s leading sporting lifestyle retailer / distribution company. Their vision is to be the most trusted and sought after partner in the industry and they need a passionate and confident Marketing Coordinator to help execute their marketing strategies and support local retailers in New Zealand.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be a key member of the wider marketing team that are based in Australia, however allowing you to take ownership of delivery as the stand-alone marketing contact in New Zealand.

This is an exciting and varied role which will see you working closely with the marketing, sales, product teams, and retail and event partners across areas:

• Retail promotional planning and campaign activations - coordinate merchandising, POS, retail store fit outs, in store activities
• Brand management activities - implement consumer campaigns, collateral development and product distribution
• Support wider marketing strategy with NZ activations across sponsorship and events
• Manage digital channels and activities across web, eDMs, Social, Display

Tertiary qualified in marketing with proven experience in both ATL and BTL marketing, you will need experience in delivering campaigns / retail market activations, brand management and digital marketing (web, e-CRM, display and social), ideally within the retail industry. They are looking for a motivated individual with a keen interest in cycling / recreational sports who is willing to go the extra mile and who can work both collaboratively and autonomously. Not your run-of-the-mill Marketing role!
