Who are we...
Fire and Emergency New Zealand is a Crown Entity established on 1 July 2017 under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017. The role of our new organisation is to reduce unwanted fires, respond to structural and vegetation fires and other emergencies including motor vehicle crashes, medical emergencies, hazardous substance related incidents, natural disasters and support increased community resilience.
Our new, unified organisation provides a fire and emergency service that delivers for communities, and the firefighters who serve them, now and in the future.
What is the role exactly...?
We are building the best communications team in the country and need a marketing expert who does everything possible to build and embed the new Fire and Emergency New Zealand brand. If you love a mix of delivery and strategy then come and join us. Our new brand has been developed and we're now rolling it out - we need help to make this happen and to grow and evolve the brand as we do. That's our focus right now, but over time we will build our brand strategy.
We are looking for someone who can do magic with internal and external relationships, has an eye for detail and the big picture, is pragmatic and can do and who loves the Fire and Emergency brand and what we do in our communities as much as our team does.
The ideal applicant...
- Has experience rolling out a new brand
- Is comfortable with detailed delivery, and thinking and innovating for the future
- Is exceptional at managing relationships internally and with suppliers
