We've recently upgraded to a new CMS (that's Content Management System for those in the know) in-house, which means we now have a great opportunity to overhaul our website, with more freedom and flexibility. This is an exciting time to join, with big projects ahead... and this is where you come in!
We're on the hunt for a Digital Specialist to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME - everyone loves an acronym!) for our public websites, acting as a super-user to really understand how the CMS functions. You will also work closely with our digital agencies (developers) to create and deliver new features and fix bugs.
What will keep you busy?
Bringing with you previous CMS experience, you will be involved in scoping requirements for the website, writing briefings and then working with the developers to create new functionality and enhance the sites. You will also manage the sign-off process of designs, and work with the IT teams on testing and release schedules. This is a technical role, but it's not super technical. There's lots to get involved in and we want someone who is driven by a good challenge!
What will it take to succeed?
- Previous CMS experience is required
- Detailed focused
- A can-do attitude, keen to get stuck in and do the leg work
- Great communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders
