We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our business based in Penrose, Auckland.

We are a leading supplier of Industrial Consumables.

The team at Advance are extremely passionate about our product range and we require individual who is likely to share the same level of passion and drive. Reporting to the Manager New Zealand, the candidate will work closely with our sales and management team.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing

  • Assist and support specific projects including, but not restricted to packaging, POS material, sales collateral, advertising and market research.
  • Work with the sales and management team to create marketing initiatives for specific products.
  • Arrange and implement targeted mailshots.
  • Compile and send client newsletters – email and hard copy.
  • Manage and grow customer databases.

 

Digital Marketing

  • Copywriting of web and marketing material.
  • Manage day to day operations and maintenance of all Advance websites.
  • Writing content for and responding to social media posts
  • Find & liaise with bloggers to promote a product

 

Design

  • Produce brochures and catalogues, the point of sale material, promotional material and sales collateral.
  • Work with product development to develop designs for micro-fibre cloth, cases and solution – all art to be produced in print ready format.
  • Liaise with clients to fill out a meaningful brief form then meet or exceed the clients' expectation with appropriate design work.
  • Manage all photography requirements.
  • Work with printing companies as required.
  • Graphic design experience will be a definite advantage.

 

Customer Services

  • Provide support to the sales team
  • Answer incoming calls (when customer services absent or busy)
  • Process customer orders and queries (when customer services absent or busy)
  • Sales coordination and analysis.

 

Skills and experience requirements

  • Full working knowledge of Adobe creative
  • Design qualification or experience
  • Customer service skills

 

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience in the B2B market
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office & Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • A marketing or business degree or industry experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of web design, web development, SEO/SEM.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and attention to detail
  • Amazing time management and can work under pressure
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role

 

This is a key role and you will be working with a dedicated team in Auckland while providing support to our Senior Management and across our branches nationally. An understanding of the sales process or sales related experience will be a distinct advantage.
