We’re looking for an impressive communicator who can clearly demonstrate strength in communications, stakeholder coordination, reputation management, issues and crisis management and the ability to consult at executive level to join our team.

Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in communications
- Experience working in the field of agriculture and/or dairy
- Experience bringing together government, industry groups, media, and other stakeholders to manage complex issues and maximise outcomes
- Deep knowledge of government, trade policy and global affairs
- Experience working internationally alongside various cultures
- Crisis management experience in the food industry would be an asset
- Post graduate education in a related field, e.g. communications or international relations
- Understanding of the print and broadcast media environment in New Zealand and internationally
- Understanding of the social media environment and key platforms
- Candidate must be able to travel for work at short notice
- High level of initiative, energy and a strong work ethic
- Critical thinker and meticulous attention to detail
