Marketing Content Manager

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Marketing Content Manager to join the University Business School and be responsible for strategic input and operational management of content related to the promotion of the Business School and for guidance in content delivery across all areas of the school.

Reporting to the Communications & Marketing Manager, this hands-on role will see you managing a small team with an emphasis on your ability to drive key relationships throughout the faculty and wider University.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage the strategy and execution of all Business School content related to marketing, communications and events across multiple platforms. 
  • Help oversee the management, development, maintenance and accuracy of the faculty internet and intranet sites.
  • Lead the sourcing, identifying, producing, delivering and repurposing of Business School content across all channels.
  • Ensure that Business School stakeholder content is relevant, aligned, consistent, concise and timely.
  • Work with your team, University media productions and external suppliers to create video, photographic and web content for all Business School content mediums and channels, including development of the appropriate briefs.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and direction for the team and encourage behaviours aligned to the development and maintenance of a culture that is inclusive, flexible, and encourages excellence.

Our ideal candidate

As a senior stakeholder within the Marketing team and greater faculty, this role has a big focus on relationships and the ability to influence and encourage collaboration through multiple mediums.

The ideal person for this role will have a demonstrated understanding and experience of delivering marketing content in a complex environment and across a variety of channels. They should have advanced level of communication skills combined with a relevant tertiary qualification and experience of digital content strategy and its implementation within multifaceted environments. Project management skills are vital and you'll be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised candidate, with a commitment to delivery of quality outcomes.
