Reporting to the Communications Manager the Senior Communications Advisor plays a pivotal role in providing effective communications advice and support to help the organisation achieve success.
About the role
You will take the lead in the planning, delivery and evaluation of strategic communications. While working across programmes and projects as you support internal teams with communications activity and provide advice to the CE and wider business on issues management, reputational risk and enabling proactive comms activity.
With a strong focus on maintaining media relations to ensure that all engagement with media is managed across the business with the support of the Communications Advisor.
You should use your experience with Social Media strategy to ensure the organisation makes the best use of this communication tool.
The ideal person will:
- Have at least 5 years working within a communications environment including media management
- Be calm and organised
- Have strong writing, editorial, planning and MS Suite skills
- Be able to prioritise tasks and work in synergy with the team and stakeholders
- Hold a communications degree or relevant experience
