OBJECTIVES

The role reports to the Marketing Manager and has substantial support, creative and communication functions in a busy environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Management of all collateral and uniform planning/briefing

  • Preparation of all Launch Briefs as communication tool to all stores
  • Effectively manage the production of uniforms and collateral
  • Product launch accessory suggestions, costing and delivery timelines

Preparation of Trade Marketing Campaigns

  • Preparation of monthly launch briefs as communication tool to all stores (up to 3 briefs a month)
  • Tracking and reporting effectiveness of campaign activities (promotional and collateral success)

Prepare on a timely manner weekly and monthly reporting

  • Monthly Sell In & Sell Out data to head office
  • Utilizing Sell Out Data to summarize and provide insights to trade marketing team
  • Month End Reporting – Inventory stock holdings / Sale Orders

Ownership of the creation and upholding of the competitor analysis, which includes but not limited to

  • Product competitor analysis
  • Customer campaign analysis

PR administration:

  • Supply images, press stock and materials to press to promote launches and increase brand awareness. Keep PR cupboard fully stocked. Assist with media inquiries and making media bookings. Support the planning and hosting of events.
  • Assist in planning and implementation. Coordinate and participate in the execution of regular events, pretty parties, pop up stores, promotional activities in-store and outdoor to build brand awareness and business.

Internal Communication

  • Issue launch/promotional event recap and monthly BeneBuzz newsletter to sales and educations team. Report weekly highlights to head office.

Day to Day Marketing/ Administrative Tasks, which includes but not limited to

  • Creation of Product Decks for internal and external presentation use
  • Setting up local codes and pricing using templates created by local logistics team
  • Raising Sales Orders for internal use and Purchase Orders for external ordering
  • Monthly packing of sends to all stores with launch briefs and small campaign elements
  • Arranging Courier for all trade marketing/ eventing activities

  • Retail operations and education team including Beauty Advisers and Beauty Experts
  • Supply chain, customer services and warehouse team

  • Cross-promotion partners

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous marketing coordinator experience in product environment
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Highly organised, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent copy writing and communication skills
  • Proactive and mature in your approach to work
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and with external suppliers
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) is highly desirable
  • Basic understanding of direct print, digital and database marketing
