The New Zealand Farm Environment Trust is a charitable organisation established to promote sustainable farming and growing. The flagship activity of the Trust is the Ballance Farm Environment Awards.
The Trust is looking to engage a contractor with the passion and capability to enhance the organisation’s communications. The key activities of the role involve:
- Delivering the communications needs to the Trust.
- Implementing a range of initiatives to promote the Ballance Farm Environment Awards and the activities of innovative agri-food and fibre producers.
- Working with key partners to support them in their partnership with the Trust.
As an independent contractor you’ll be expected to have your own office equipment and setup.
The role would suit someone with experience in:
- Working autonomously;
- Marketing and communications including media and social media experience;
- Delivering promotional campaigns.
Ideally candidates would have a good understanding of the primary sector and an interest in promoting sustainable farming and growing.
Candidates must currently be a New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency.
