We are on the hunt for talented marketing and sales savvy individual preferably with payments or financial services experience
About the Company
Card Works is a New Zealand owned and operated payments innovator, currently providing payment solutions for B2C, B2B and B2B2C. First to market late 2017 for Cardworks was the Bonfire Gift Mastercard – the first of many proposed payment innovations planned.
The Role
This is a key role where you will be responsible for the effective creation and implementation of Cardworks sales and marketing strategy. Reporting to the CEO and working with a small but dedicated team you will be accountable to lead the business into new markets and opportunities. As a small team you will be very hands on driving initiatives to develop and promote opportunities, the brand and market profile. You will work closely with the executive team and others in our existing successful partner model to support overall business performance and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement Sales and Marketing strategies for Card Works products and services to businesses and consumers
- Execute Sales and Marketing plans and maintain ongoing relationships with key partners
- Drive revenue and customer growth through direct input
About You
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing
- A strong background in online consumer based and/or B2B sales environment
- Experience in Financial Services or Payments is advantageous
- Proven experience in successfully executing sales and marketing strategies
- Self-motivated and hands-on
- Ambitious and thirsty for results
- A good understanding of start-up businesses and a can do attitude
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
