Some more information about the role:

This is a great opportunity for a professional looking for their next permanent opportunity on the North Shore. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working alongside a tight-knit team. 

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and annual financial reporting
• Preparation statutory accounts
• Revenue reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger and financial system
• Manage and maintain compliance processes 
• Ownership of external/internal audit processes
• Ad-hoc projects 

This is a varied role so if you are the business as usual type and enjoy routine, then this is not the role for you.

So who are you, and what is your profile?

You will have proven experience as a Financial Accountant within a fast-paced environment with the ability to identify, prioritise and remediate issues in a timely manner. Ideally you will have come from a Financial Accounting position in a services business however you may be an experienced Assistant Accountant looking to take that next step up. 

You will ideally have knowledge and experience with Xero Accounting Software and be strong with excel. You will also have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to develop relationships.
