Are you a copywriter or a journalist with experience telling deep, layered stories, or creating fascinating features? Do you have a passion for writing and creating the best possible content? Are you reliable, quick, innovative, and passionate about quality?

We’re looking for a Partner Communications Lead either in Auckland or Wellington to create compelling, challenging, well-told stories from inside Xero and from Xero partners. You’ll be an expert interviewer and writer, who can always see to the heart of an issue and has a great eye for a new narrative.

You’ll help identify, interview, and write up the stories of top accountants and bookkeepers from all over the world to help create white papers, case studies, video, podcasts and more. You’ll take on the role of a reporter seeking out partner stories, quotes and interesting tales of how Xero is improving the lives of our partners and customers, and help make the world’s best thought leadership content.

You’ll also work to provide the voice of the Partner BU in Xero’s PR and comms channels - working closely with Xero leaders to create bylined articles, blog articles, and press releases, as well helping with sales/marketing collateral to light up the partner channel, globally.

Working closely with Xero Partner leadership, you’ll also help in the preparation of presentations and speeches either for Xero employees or external audiences, and you’ll balance a demanding, fast-paced, global role while maintaining high work and creative standards.

What we're looking for:-

• An experienced copywriter or journalist
• Experience, or a strong interest in, SaaS or Fintech
• Competitive analysis skills and customer focus
