Providing administrative and promotional support to the Category Manager – Dry Garden, every day will be different and the team is great!

This role is a fantastic opportunity for you to be mentored and developed, and be a key support person for our Category Manager – Dry Garden, and help grow this interesting and varied category, which encompasses, everything that relates to gardens, except for the plants, ie, garden chemicals, garden hardware, garden décor and powered garden tools, such as your lawn mower and blower vac.

 

Core responsibilities in the role include: 

  • Providing administrative and process improvement support to the Category Manager in range management;
  • Updating product stock files;
  • Involvement with planning and implementation of the category’s promotional programme;

  • Developing strong relationships with our suppliers, stores and customers.

To be effective in the role it is expected that you will have solid administration experience and/or a relevant Business or Marketing qualification, excellent written and verbal English communication skills, int/adv MS Excel skills and excellent organisational skills, along with the ability to not get flustered under pressure, think laterally and to be able to take responsibility for key tasks.
