Are you a people person who enjoys building relationships with businesses and individuals?  Are you great over the phone and enjoy the challenge of gathering information from a variety of sources?

Pacifecon are on the hunt for an Information Researcher to join their close-knit Upper North Island team on a part time (25 hours per week) basis.  You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with a variety of contacts which could range from architects and designers, to developers, builders and councils, obtaining the most up-to-date information on their construction projects.  

With your outgoing personality, you will enjoy gathering information over the phone and via websites and newspaper articles. A fantastic phone manner is essential for this role and you will need to be confident talking to people of all levels. On-going training and support will be given by your supervisor and our NZ Research Manager.

Pacifecon is a wholly NZ operated business focused exclusively on the NZ and Pacific Islands construction industries. We use a nationwide team to compile information on building projects which is used by companies and professionals servicing the construction industry. Attributes required

  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills

  • Intermediate or above computer skills
  • Home Office set up
  • Experience in the building industry is helpful but not necessary
  • Being able to speak Mandarin is also helpful but not necessary
