As a Microsoft Co-Sell Partner and NZ All-of-Government supplier, a growing list of enterprise and government customers trust their email security to SMX. 

THE ROLE

The role reports to our CEO. The Digital Marketing Executive will create and roll out a variety of campaigns, customer enablement programs, events and communications to support, upsell and increase customer reach for SMX. Your working relationships will be with SMX team (NZ/Australia), Vendors and Clients.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Marketing & Brand

- Execute the digital marketing strategy, using clever and innovative tactics to bring the SMX brand to life
- Run end-to-end digital and direct marketing campaigns that deliver high quality results Build and nurture the SMX brand through all marketing, events, campaigns and collateral
- Support the sales process with on brand collateral and touchpoints
- Through innovative use of media and technology, increase SMX brand awarenes
- Prepare marketing metrics and drive key decisions 
- Drive high-quality leads to SMX, using inbound methodology and online advertising
- Oversee the creation of digital assets - landing pages, emails, simple images, CTAs
- Liaise proactively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on a range of campaigns.

Campaigns & Communications
- Create memorable touchpoints and interactions for our customers
- Create on brand campaigns aligned with the business and sales plans
- Run digital campaigns, using the best digital platforms for our business
- Run email marketing campaigns and creating eNewsletters
- Track and measure the success of campaigns, looking for iterative improvements
- Analyse campaign data and new product developments to identify marketing opportunities and targeted campaigns
- Develop a customer reference base to ensure SMX have customer advocates

Events
- Seek out creative event opportunities for SMX to participate in
- Create and execute SMX events calendar
- Ensure events integrate customers, add value to the customer base and promote our products 

Content
- Identify content to be produced or refined to support the sales process and business strategy
- Create creative briefs and manage the production of collateral and resources
- With the support of our digital partner, create and execute a digital content plan

Expertise
Must have 2 yrs ICT or Telco digital marketing experience (no exceptions)
- 2-3 years marketing experience working in the technology industry
- Experience of managing digital marketing, integrated campaigns and event management
- IT Savvy, preferably ICT marketing experience
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, enthusiastic and proactive
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - competent writing copy for emails, ads, social media messages, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics
