AGrowQuip NZ is the #1 brand in Agricultural machinery and is the exclusive franchise dealer for John Deere with an extensive range of agricultural equipment which includes franchises for tractor, agricultural machinery, commercial, turf, golf and fine turf, SPFH, combines and a tractor rental fleet.
We have over 90 staff in our 4 branches in Silverdale, Pukekohe, Hamilton and Cambridge.
We have a position available for a Service Technician in our Silverdale branch where our service focus is mainly on small tractor and lawn care products.
We require an experienced technician who has completed their apprenticeship and have knowledge of the machinery industry, preferably agricultural machinery.
To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate you can work independently and perform complex on-site & workshop diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer owned agricultural and turf equipment.
It is essential that you will account for your time, and take responsibility for the time spent on the job in the field with a minimum amount of supervision.
You need to demonstrate that you complete the paperwork to ensure the complete job can be invoiced to the customer as soon as you have finished the job. This includes timecards, parts and materials and a description of the work completed.
