Reporting to the GM Finance, in this role you will be involved with month end activities, posting to and monitoring the general ledger; assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual IFRS accounts and budgets, preparing cash and foreign currency forecasts, conducting cost and profitability analysis, and participating in the preparation and presentation of project appraisals. You will be also be involved in the preparation and filing of statutory returns.
The successful candidate person will:
- Have experience at a mid-level in financial accounting ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Ideally be CA or ACA qualified, newly qualified will be considered
- Have experience in the preparation and filing of company statutory returns; month end activities; IFRS accounting; monthly management accounts; and forecasting activities
- Solid analysis skills to support commercial decisions
- Have a service orientated philosophy to accounting
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
To be successful in this role you must have solid computer skills including advanced Excel and preferably familiarity with SAP. You will enjoy being part of a high performing finance team and display initiative and common sense.
