ADDING THE FINAL DETAILS
Techlam’s Detailing Team will take internally manufactured structural timber members fabricate them into the final product by adding the prescribed notches, mitres, penetrations and connecting systems. Every job is made to order and will come with new challenges which is why your brain will be your most used power tool. You will have a set of plans clearly stating WHAT needs to be done, the HOW is up to you and the team. Once a plan of action is agreed upon, the team carefully use a range wood working techniques with the assistance of hand and power tools such as chainsaws, routers and drills. Once all the features are added, the product is doubled checked before being prepared for dispatch.

BUILDING A FUTURE
The nature of work is rapidly changing and a future proof career is hard to identify. Pre-fabrication is a steadily growing sector of the construction market as more work is done in off-site workshops. Builders no longer make their own frames, concrete panels are cast in remote yards, fabricated beams & columns bolt together perfectly. Keeping with the flow of change makes a Pre-Fab career not only lucrative but secure.

Health and Safety statistics prove that controlled manufacturing environments have significantly reduced risk of injury, serious harm and long-term health hazards. No more days rained off, patchy workload and cold lunches.

ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a few key attributes. Does this sound like you?Health and Safety focused above all else. Help us keep the Zero Harm streak going.
• Experience in woodworking, carpentry or pre-fabrication / manufacturing
