The company
Our client is an established company involved in the civil and drainage works industry and are experiencing continued and sustained growth. The role
We are looking for experienced Labourers who enjoy working outdoors, and don't mind getting their hands dirty. Responsibilities will include a range of civil labouring, drainage work such as trench digging around water reticulation, operating civil machinery and equipment and moving of materials.
You will be capable of heavy lifting, digging drains and trenches, and other manual tasks. You must be flexible with working hours, happy to do overtime to ensure the team meet their deadlines, reliable, are a good communicator and have a safety-first attitude.

Duties
- Have a current full Class 1 Driver’s Licence, a Wheels Tracks and Roller licence would be an advantage
- Class 2 and 4 would be a great advantage
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Be physically fit and not afraid of manual work
- Can use your own initiative with minimal supervision
- Can adhere to the company’s best practices
- Can comply with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Skills and experience
- Experience at operating excavators and forklifts are essential
- Have previous experience in drainage work, water reticulation and using machinery used in civil works
- Have an excellent safety record
