Pump and Electrical Services provides and services milking machine systems and all pumping requirements throughout the wider Waikato region. We are based in both Hamilton and Huntly. We are dealers for DeLaval, with a large portion of our business being on-farm service and installation. We also service all other major milking machine brands. We supply and install all major brands of pumps and design, supply and install Davey filtration systems.

We are seeking a Qualified Electrician with a current practicing licence. It would be advantageous if you had experience with water pumps and milking machines, but this is not essential as all training will be provided. A great attitude, sense of humour and an eagerness to learn are essential along with a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.

In this role, your duties will include:

• General Electrical Work
• Motor Control Wiring
• Milking Machine Installation, Repairs and Maintenance
• House Pump Repairs and Maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns and being on-call

The successful candidate for this opportunity will:

• Have a Current Practicing Licence
• Be reliable and hard working
• Be able to work as part of a team and independently
• Have a strong focus on Health and Safety
• Have good communication with customers as well as work mates
• Work to a high standard
• Be able and willing to try your hand to many different jobs
• Have a full drivers licence
• Have your own basic hand tools
• Have flexibility to work overtime as required
• Be able to adapt to an evolving industry
