Danks Roller Doors, a division of RCR Infrastructure (NZ), has a longstanding reputation as a supplier and installer of quality commercial roller shutter doors. We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Door Technician to join our team in Auckland.
What’s expected of you?
You won’t be afraid to get their hands dirty as it is a hands on role. You will carry out day to day field work including the installation of roller shutter doors and other systems, and carrying out service and maintenance on these products.
Skills and experience you will have include:
- Excellent mechanical skills with experience using a variety of hand tools including welding and oxy equipment.
- A good understanding of safe work practises, and the ability to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- A team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated experience in the commercial and industrial environment
- Current clean NZ drivers licence
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and time management skills
- Experience installing various roller shutter doors and grilles in New Zealand is desirable, but not essential.
To provide our customers with the best service, this position will be part of a call out roster on a rotational basis.
